I’m rather proud of this chart. But I think my Excel skills need some work: is it my imagination, or are those recession bars wider at the top than at the bottom?

  3. bigdreams said: the recession bars are wider at the top than the bottom… 42px at the top for the far right, 32px at the bottom. maybe your axis got messed up?
  4. choire said: Very attractive! I think the bar-skewing gives it a nice 3D effect. (Obligatory comment here about how rates are reported county-wide, and have little bearing on neighborhood reality, etc.)
